In September 2019 Dutch Mortgage Portfolio Management (DMPM) introduced the multi-investor NHG platform HollandWoont with MeDirect Bank as launching investor. DMPM acts as a director and portfolio manager for HollandWoont. The investor MeDirect Bank successfully placed her first securitisation Bastion 2020 – 1 of HollandWoont mortgages in May 2020.
During the Securitisation Event 2021, organised by IIR and the Dutch Securitisation Association, MeDirect Bank has been awarded with the Securitisation Award 2021 for the Bastion 2020-1 NHG transaction. The award recognizes the great achievement by MeDirect Bank of opening up the RMBS market in the beginning of the corona crisis. DMPM is proud to have cooperated with MeDirect Bank to make this transaction a success. MeDirect Bank already placed their second transaction Bastion 2021 – 1 on January 25, 2021.
HollandWoont, an NHG-only mortgage originator has proven to be very successful since its launch. In addition to MeDirect Bank, other investors have recently joined this multi-investor platform, allowing HollandWoont to originate over EUR 1 billion in November 2020.
In addition to the NHG-only platform HollandWoont, DMPM also launched a non-NHG platform Clarian Wonen recently, which allows institutional investors to tailor their investment in residential mortgages to combinations of NHG and non-NHG LTV and duration classes.
